Management of Prisoners/detainee by 
multi-Biometric system

Objective of the system is that to allow the univocal identification of prisoners, using the multiple biometric identification technology, in order to execute identity checks during entry and exit phases of prisoners from any Penalty Units, maintaining trace of each transaction during the time. 

The police department assumes custody of individuals arrested and is responsible for the housing and transportation of prisoners from the time they are brought into judicial custody until they are either acquitted or incarcerated.

The responsibility for the detention of prisoners is challenging in its diversity and complexity. Police must resolve issues such as: arranging for the hospitalization and care of prisoners with terminal illnesses or contagious diseases; finding lodging for dependent children of prisoner and alien material witnesses.

Due to increasing crime rates, correctional facilities are finding it difficult to securely manage the ever-growing number of prisoners and their identification records.
